To identify members with dental coverage
You can identify whether members have dental coverage by their HealthSpring Medicare Advantage ID card. It will reference the dental coverage next to the words Dental Plan.
If you have questions about dental coverage, visit Cigna for health care professionals or call the number on the member ID card.
Medically covered dental services
You may bill some dental services to HealthSpring under the member’s medical benefits if the service is considered inextricably linked to the clinical success of other Medicare-covered services. Refer to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for examples of what may be covered.
