In August, we’ll contact a sample of Medicare Advantage providers for our appointment wait times and after-hours access survey. In accordance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services guidelines, we’re required to conduct this survey to support network accessibility for our members, your patients.

How it works: We’ll email or mail a random sample of providers a link to complete an online survey in August.

• If we don’t receive a response to the initial email, we’ll email you a reminder seven days later. 

• The physician, nurse, office manager or other qualifying staff may complete the survey. 

About wait time standards: CMS sets Medicare Advantage wait time standards for primary care, specialist care and behavioral health services. Providers who contract with us to deliver Medicare Advantage services are expected to adhere to these standards. Learn more about the standards.
