Homethrive’s Companionship+ Benefit Will Not Be Offered in 2026

Effective Jan. 1, 2026, the Companionship+ benefit offered by Homethrive is no longer offered. Homethrive will continue to administer virtual caregiver support for your patients with HealthSpring Medicare Advantage coverage in the 2026 benefit year.
What this means to your patients
Your patients enrolled in Homethrive’s Companionship+ benefit will not be enrolled in Homethrive’s Companionship+ program in 2026. Members can enroll in Homethrive’s caregiver support program in 2026 if it’s offered on the patient’s plan.
What is Homethrive’s caregiver support program?
Homethrive offers holistic support to help caregivers take care of their loved ones and their own well-being. All support is offered digitally and/or telephonically. However, Homethrive can research local organizations and resources to support patients’ and their caregivers’ needs.
Who can use Homethrive’s caregiver support?
Your patient’s caregiver can enroll. They will need the patient’s HealthSpring member ID to complete enrollment.
Your patients can enroll if they are a caregiver.
Your patients who are not caregivers are able to enroll if they’d like support maintaining independent living or other personal needs.
